After the school closed in 1996, the estate entered a new phase. The Court was carefully restored and transformed into eight luxury apartments, while Lower Drive was redesigned and rebuilt as a modern residential community. Derelict school buildings were removed, and the Serpentine Wall and gardens were sympathetically reconstructed. Additionally, the historic quadrangle form of the Court was reinstated through the removal of later extensions, preserving the estate’s original architectural character

Finally, around 2001, the renovations were completed. The newly-built houses at Lower Drive and on Besford Court Estate were put on the market, along with the beautifully restored luxury apartments within the Court. Besford Court had now become a beautiful hidden gem, in the heart of the Worcestershire Countryside.
The estate now stands as a beautifully preserved living community, combining modern homes with a rare depth of history.
